Little Bobo

Little Bobo

We adopted Bobo back in July. She was just a shy little thing, waiting to be adopted along with her brothers and sisters. We took one look at her big brown eyes and we were done for!

Now she runs around playing tag with her new sister Maggie. They groom each other and chase after birds! She's becoming quite the beautiful dog, and is growing up so fast!

Thank you Humane Society of the Nature Coast!

Buddy

Buddy

Buddy was spotted while shopping at Petco and I fell in love with this little silly older guy -- especially when he sat up on his back legs begging for some love. Having two other older dogs at home I felt I dare not even ask my husband who was off shopping for dog biscuts with our grandsons. Upon paying for our purchase, I glanced back and Buddy was giving me the look....tears welled in my eyes, I payed the clerk and we left the store. My husband asked what was wrong and I did the typical woman answer "nothing". He immediately knew what was going on, made a U turn in lot and sent me back in to talk to the volunteer. Buddy had a meet and greet with her soon to be two rescue dog sisters and it was instant love. They bonded immediately and we are some sight when we take a walk with our "Goof Troop". So thanks to you we have a family of 1native Floridian and two transplants, all senior citizens just like my husband and myself!

Fondly,

Pyper Starr

Pyper Starr "Diane"

I adopted "Diane", on December 28, 2010, who I changed to Pyper Starr. She is a Catahoula, female. She is just over 1 year old. She was one of a litter of siblings who were abused and dumped at your facility. Thanks to all your staff and the Vet, they saved all of them.

Pyper is a sweet girl! She comes up under my left arm every morning and lays her head on my chest. It's her way of hugging me! She does this, when I need one. She just knows. I have another dog, a Border Collie, Bella, which they get along real well, like sisters.

It is amazing to see how far Pyper has come, since I seen her in your facility and now. She is smart, playful, sweet-hearted, and loves cats! lol She thinks every cat is her friend, even though they might not like her. She has made a few cat friends though.
I would like to thank you all, for saving Pyper and her siblings. I often wonder, how her sisters and brothers are doing. Maybe you can do an update on them too?
Pyper thanks you too, for letting her have a loving home with me, her Mama. :)
